Reddit market research agent with sentiment routing
We built this agent for a client who looks for real customer problems on Reddit to shape new services. The workflow searches Reddit, uses AI to drop posts that are off topic, then summarizes each remaining post, proposes a solution or business idea, scores the sentiment and writes everything to a Google Sheet. Positive and neutral posts go to Slack, and negative ones become Gmail drafts.

How the automation works

The challenge
Reddit is full of people describing their problems in detail, but reading threads by hand is slow and most posts are not relevant. Useful signals get lost, and there is no record of what has been reviewed.
Our approach
The workflow searches Reddit posts for the chosen topic, and an IF node drops posts without usable content. A Set node prepares the fields, and an AI agent on Azure OpenAI checks each post for relevance. After a merge and a filter, the kept posts go down three branches: a summarization chain writes a short summary, an OpenAI message step suggests a solution or business idea, and a sentiment analysis node labels the post positive, neutral or negative. The results are merged into one row per post in Google Sheets. Positive and neutral posts are sent to Slack, and negative posts are saved as Gmail drafts for follow-up.
The outcome
The client gets a growing sheet of relevant Reddit posts, each with a summary and a suggested idea, plus Slack updates and drafts for the posts that need a closer look.
