Project brief

Deliverables

  • WordPress website on Divi
  • Course and webinar catalog
  • WooCommerce course checkout
  • News section by topic
  • Newsletter signup
  • Mobile layout

The challenge

The site serves two jobs at once: a news and resources publication that clinicians read regularly, and a training business that sells courses, bundles and credentials. Both had to sit under one navigation without the courses getting lost among articles.

Our approach

The main menu splits into News, Education, Newsletter and Resources, with a Log In button for learners. News is organized by topic, such as policy and compliance, clinical practice and technology, while Education groups on-demand courses, webinars, bundles and credential programs. A banner above the hero promotes the next webinar, and the home page leads to courses, the newsletter signup and the latest news.

The outcome

A WordPress site that works as both a telehealth news source and a course catalog, with clear routes to courses, webinars and the newsletter on desktop and mobile. Readers who arrive for the news are always a click away from the course catalog.

How we did it

  1. Step 01

    Information architecture

Four menu groups separate news, education, the newsletter and resources such as research, the podcast and free downloads, so readers and learners each find their path.

  2. Step 02

    Courses and checkout

On-demand courses, webinars, bundles and credential programs are sold through WooCommerce, with Edwiser Bridge connecting purchases to the learning platform.

  3. Step 03

    News by topic

Articles are grouped into policy and compliance, clinical practice, technology and innovation, and business and market trends, with recent stories on the home page.

  4. Step 04

    Webinars and newsletter

A banner above the hero promotes the next webinar, and newsletter signup calls to action appear in the hero and lower on the page.

Why this project matters

For an education brand, the news keeps clinicians coming back and the courses pay for it. A site that links the two well turns regular readers into learners.
