Project brief

Deliverables

  • Product and best-seller posts
  • Menu and offer posts
  • Portrait and square feed sizes
  • Each brand's colors and type applied

The challenge

Food sells on appetite, and every feed is full of it. Each post had to make the product look worth ordering at thumbnail size, carry the brand's own look, and fit a menu or offer message without covering the food.

Our approach

We let the product do most of the work: bold crops, warm light and one clear focal point, with type kept to a headline and a short supporting line. Names, prices and calls to action sit in a consistent place, so followers learn where to look. Each brand kept its own palette and fonts.

The outcome

The set shows how we keep food and drink posts on-brand across very different businesses, from a juice bar to a sit-down restaurant.

How we did it

  1. Step 01

    Product first

We pick the strongest product shot for each post and crop it to fill the frame, so the food or drink is the first thing people see.

  2. Step 02

    Short copy

Headlines stay to a few words, with one supporting line for the menu item, price or offer.

  3. Step 03

    Consistent placement

Logos, names, prices and calls to action sit in the same place across a brand's posts, which makes the feed easier to scan.

  4. Step 04

    Feed-ready sizes

Posts are exported in portrait and square sizes for Instagram and Facebook feeds.

Why this project matters

For a cafe or restaurant, the Instagram grid works like a second menu. People check it before they visit or order, so posts that show the food clearly and look like one brand give them a reason to come in.

Questions about this project

Do you design for cafes and restaurants in the US, UK and Europe?

Yes. We work remotely from your photos, menu and brand guidelines, and deliver posts ready to schedule on Instagram and Facebook.

What do you need from us to start?

Your logo and brand colors, product photos, and the items or offers you want to promote. If your photos aren't strong enough yet, we'll tell you what to shoot.

Can you make reels as well as static posts?

Yes. Short-form video editing is part of our video work, so static posts and reels can be planned together.
