Project brief
Deliverables
- Edited UGC video ads
- Hooks and on-screen text
- Product close-up sequences
- 9:16 exports
The challenge
UGC ads work because they feel native to the feed, not like a commercial. The edit has to keep that natural feel while still landing a clear hook, showing the product properly and ending on one call to action, all inside a few seconds of attention.
Our approach
We open on the hook, a question, a problem or a surprising visual, before any branding. The product appears early and up close, on-screen text states the main benefit for sound-off viewers, and cuts follow the creator's delivery rather than a fixed template. Each ad ends with one clear next step.
The outcome
The set shows how we edit UGC-style ads that feel native to the feed while still selling one clear idea.
- In this set
- 15 vertical video ads
- Format
- 9:16 UGC-style ads
- Made for
- Meta, Instagram and TikTok
How we did it
Step 01
Hook first
Each ad opens on a question, a problem or a surprising visual before any branding appears.
Step 02
Show the product early
Close-ups of the product in use come in the first seconds, not at the end.
Step 03
Text for sound-off viewing
On-screen text states the main benefit, so the ad works for people scrolling with the sound off.
Step 04
One call to action
Each ad ends with a single next step, and is exported in 9:16 for Meta, Instagram and TikTok placements.

Why this project matters
UGC-style ads are a staple for DTC and e-commerce brands because they look like the content people already watch. The edit decides whether that footage becomes an ad that sells one clear idea or just another clip.
Questions about this project
Do you supply the creators, or edit footage we already have?
We edit footage you provide, from your creators or your team. We can also write briefs and hook ideas to give to creators before they film.
Can you make several versions of one ad for testing?
Yes. We often cut one piece of footage into several versions with different hooks or openings, so you can test them against each other.
