The challenge
A long video has to earn every minute. When the pace drops or the picture stays the same for too long, viewers leave well before the end.
Our approach
We cut the talking-head footage tight, then layer b-roll, screen captures and graphics over the points that need showing rather than telling. On-screen text highlights the key lines, and music and sound effects carry the transitions between sections.
The outcome
The set shows the kind of polished long-form edit a channel needs to publish full-length videos on a regular schedule.

How we did it
Step 01
Rough cut
The raw footage is cut down to the strongest takes, with pauses, repeats and dead air removed.
Step 02
Show, don't just tell
B-roll, screen captures and graphics go over the points that are easier to understand when the viewer can see them.
Step 03
Text and sound
On-screen text highlights key lines, and music and sound effects carry the pace between sections.
Step 04
Final export
Each video is color-checked, mixed and exported in 16:9 for upload.
